Time to stop being the silent majority

I think back of the freedoms given to “We the people” and the religious freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution and it really weighs on my mind when I see where we as a country are and where it looks like we are going. I see articles and hear about cities, states and the federal government filing law suits against Churches, to stop their free expression of their faith.

I hope Church’s and the members wake up and stand up in time. When any government agency tries to limit the expression of faith in any way for one Church. That Church along with all the members of that Church plus every other Church and Christian in the area should be protesting and making their voice heard. Christians as a group need to stand up, speak out and let the government, courts, newspapers etc. know that we will no longer be quiet and let them run over us!

Vote The Bible

I keep thinking about this and the fact that it keeps coming to my mind tells me to comment on it. There is quite a bit of information out there, yet too many people don’t consider it important. For many years I didn’t bother voting. I had the same thoughts as many ” My vote doesn’t matter “, ” It’s only one vote “, along with many other excuses. Hopefully if you read this post and watch the videos and follow the links you will realize as I did that your vote does matter and if enough people will vote their biblical values things will change.

The first thing is John Hagee Ministries has T Shirts available saying Vote The Bible. I have ordered mine because it is a message to anyone you come in contact with. Order yours here Vote The Bible T Shirt.

The next thing is John Hagee has preached a whole series about voting biblical values, it was from before the 2012 elections but it is still valid today and time is growing shorter. You can listen at http://podbay.fm/show/461747136/e/1314745985?autostart=1

Again, this is from around 2012 but it does give you some information about the consequences of your vote.

One Vote Matters

Thank You for reading and I hope it helps clear up the urgency I feel to encourage people to vote.

Christian Votes

I got this in an email and thought it makes sense to me. I would add one other thing……..PRAY!

This message is well worth reading and then forwarding to others. The Unites States needs help in getting things turned around for the benefit of the people.
When we get 100,000,000, that’s one hundred million willing Christians to BOND together, voice their concerns and vote, we can take back America with God’s help, Become one of the One hundred million, then let’s get 200 million. It can be done by sending this email to your friends. Do the math. It only takes a willing heart and a fed up soul. God Bless America and Shine your light on Her..
In 1952
President Truman established one day a year as a
“National Day of Prayer.”
—————————————————————————————————————————-
In 1988
President Reagan designated the
First Thursday in May of each year as the National Day of Prayer.
—————————————————————————————————————————
In June 2007
(then) Presidential Candidate Barack Obama
declared that the USA
“Was no longer a Christian nation.”
—————————————————————
This year President Obama
canceled the 21st annual National Day
of Prayer ceremony
at the White House under the ruse Of “not wanting to offend anyone”
————————————————————————
BUT… on September 25, 2009
from 4 AM until 7 PM,
a National Day of Prayer FOR THE MUSLIM RELIGION
was Held on Capitol Hill, Beside the White House.
There were over 50,000 Muslims in D.C. that day.
HE PRAYS WITH THE MUSLIMS!
I guess it Doesn’t matter
if “Christians “Are offended by this event –
We obviously Don ‘t count as “anyone” Anymore.
The direction this country is headed should strike fear in the heart of every Christian,
especially knowing that the Muslim religion believes that if Christians cannot be converted, they should be annihilated.

The Constitution, 1st Amendment

James Madison said

“On every question of construction, carry ourselves back to the time when the constitution was adopted, recollect the spirit manifested in the debates, and instead of trying what meaning may be squeezed out of the text, or invented against it, conform to the probable one in which it was passed.”

Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

To me this says we have freedom OF religion, not freedom from religion. It is time Christian’s claim their Constitutional rights. Congress (the government) is forbidden by the 1st Amendment from either promoting one religion over another or stopping “We The People” from exercising our religion.

When Christian’s understand what is at stake (and I pray the time is now), they (Christian’s) will get out and vote. When we do this attack on The Constitution will end because the people who want to violate our God given rights will no longer be getting elected.

The 1st Amendment also says that we have a right to PEACEABLY assemble (the key word is peaceably, not riot or cause damage or trouble) and demand that our grievances are addressed. What we are seeing is a violation of that very right when anyone who tries to voice a view different than Progressives is targeted by the IRS so they can’t speak or express their concerns.

Christian’s it is time to Stand Up and Speak UP.

God Bless America
